Sort of a mixed bag in the end, but a great day at the track ...
Took a coupe of "sane" shakedown passes, car did everything right, hooked, went straight, etc ...
Took it easy, 1.73 60', 12.89 at 104.43 granny shifting.
Put the boost at 24 psi, rev limiter launch ...the car went great ... new best 60' for the car at 1.56 ... car went a 12.19 at 109.17 for a new best ET as well.
Next pass, the car backed the 60' up at 1.57, driver messed up and missed third.
Left the car alone .... went 1.59 60', car went a 12.14 at 109.88 for another new best ET.
Decided to advance the cam timing a little as it seems this cam likes a little advance and the car responded big time ... lousy 1.62 60' but ran 7.60 at 93.05 in the 1/8th and 12.03 at 113.78 in the quarter.
If the 60' on that pass was anywhere near what I was pulling earlier, it would have been a 11 second pass ...
Let 1 psi out of the slicks for the next pass. only went a 1.61 60' and blew up the tranny going into third on the last pass :( Manged to nurse it home. All in all a great day :D
There is still boost, timing, cam timing, and suspension all still to be tuned. EVERY pass before the last one was slow shifted as well. I tried to powershift the last one to get that 11 ... There is a lot left in the little combo for sure ...
