Kenne Bell on a built 2v is making no power.

I installed a Kenne Bell 1.7 on my 99 gt. Now before the blower the car put down 274 rwhp . Well yesterday the car was tuned and it only made 280..... I need help figuring this out. The blower is making 7psi of boost but the car wont make any power. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Is yours the one with the underdrive pulley? Then switched to factory pulley? It only made 280 with the stock pulley at 7psi? Is there any leaks between blower and intake?

make sure the boost bypass valve is actually staying closed and not just dumping the boost out. I would start there

Well here is the latest info I found out. I got in touch with a tech from kenne bell. His thoughts were that the tune may be incorrect or there is fuel problem. Then he suggested I call Tim from Modular Powerhouse and see if he has any thoughts. Well I did that and he feels the same... tune or fuel issue. Does anyone have a fuel pressure switch that I could try before I spend $75-$100 on one. Its the switch thats bolted to the drivers side fuel rail.

Still doing research!!! Thanks everyone for the help so far.

    +1, great suggestion.

On the same note, do you have a boost gauge?

What injectors are you running? And what pully do you have on? Also is your kit intercooled?

Don Lasota did the blower tune. Oh and I guess I should have added that the bottom end is built. Forged cobra crank.... forged h-beam manley rods... manley dome dished pistons. At least that is what the guy that I bought the car off of told me it has. Never tore into it to verify but so far everything else he has told me has been true.
