    F350 Ideas on Tires

For those of you with trucks, I need ideas on tires. What tires would you put on this thing? Drive about 25 miles each day, its on the road, in the mud, and in the snow..... I was thinking Nitto Terra Grapplers?

Thoughts? Anyone have any bad experiences?

I hear great things about the terra grapplers, properly rotated and air pressure, guys are gettin 50-60k out of them. That'll be my next tire or also considering general grabber at2's. My truck never goes offroad but I like something aggressive looking. I think being you have a 3/4 truck, you require special load ranges on your tires? so i'm guessing it limits you to specific tires?

Explorer Pro-Comp AT's also give great miles before wearing out. I've not run the Terra Grapplers so no comment there, but I have the Pro-Comps on 3 diesels right now. Best tire I've run in my 38 years of life. Not a great mud tire for real nasty mud, but equal to or slightly better than just about any other AT in the mild goo.
    50K Mile Pro-Rated Warranty.

If your needing to lean a bit more towards the off-road performance, the Pro-Comp Extreme All Terrain is really nice, I run that on my 05 Dodge 2500 Cummins truck. It is a cross between a mud tire and a AT.
    40K Mile pro-rated warranty.

I tried a set of the swamper Truxxus MT's on my diesel Excursion, and yes they work awesome off-road.... 20K miles is a pipe dream with them! You'll be lucky to see 15-17K miles and they demand constant rotating to fight the cupping. This tire looks and performs exceptional, but lasts a very short time.
    Tail Light Warranty.

I run the BFG All-Terrians. I have had good luck with them. I do not go off road, have had in the mud and snow and they worked great. I have about 30,000 miles on them now and they still look like new.

Yes, I need a load E tire. The terra grapplers work for teh 3/4 and my 1 ton!

    Thanks for the feedback.

I had them on an old gasser back in the day. Good looking tire, I got just about 30 out of them too! I might look at those again!

Those are some good looking tire. Yea, the swamp tires would be great. I am thinking I would have to lay off the go pedal!

I love my nittos but since the price went up I am going to try something else this summer. Dont get me wrong they had great traction and low road noise but I just want to try something else.

I paid $115 each for them when I got them and now they are $145.

I have terra grapplers on my expedition. I will buy another set this summer after 30k miles of use.

Good price! The smallest I can go is 275/65/20. Freaking expensive. I would love some 295/65/20 but they are like 380 each and I am limited in who makes them.

They wear fantastic and are not harsh with road noise at all. Had them on my Lincoln for around 15k miles and they still looked brand new. My Ram will get a set as soon as I wear the factory ones out.
