    Thumbs up Built another toy

I decided I have enough carbines and it was time to build a 20" rifle. Also took it to the range and it shoots 1.5" 5 shot groups at 100 yds with iron sights.

I have quite a few carbines like this also

I'd look at a Spikes Tactical, Stag or S&W for your price range, maybe even a Bushmaster but that would be my last choice of the 4 listed, Spikes being the first.

It it were me and I was only buying one I would save up and get a Colt for about 1000-1100.

For about $850 you can get a DPMS like the one in front. It's a Lo Pro Classic.....bull barrel, flat top and shoots like a DREAM!!

The back one is a DPMS LR-308...26" bull, SS. It's a hog to move around but shoots awesome.

Anyone go to the show in Monroeville this weekend? Too much junk and the guns were overpriced IMO. I remember when the show at the original ExpoMart was the one to go to...

For about 750.00 you can build one just like the first one I have pictured, it's a BCM which compares in quality to a Colt, they use mil-spec materials for their barrels, bolt groups and also they are all MP/HP tested as required by the military.

Not to knock DPMS but they are a low grade AR, not bad for plinking but not built for hard use.
