Love the new Teslas..... they have a very Jaguar-like stying, so i'm obviously a big fan... and the interior, with what is basically a TV screen as the control center, is really nice.....

If in a couple years the used ones are selling for a decent price, and the reliability has been good, i think i'd be a potential buyer... i won't pay 100K for one though

I have to admit, following that Tesla at a brisk pace was very exciting!

I didn't think an electric car could excite me that way.

There was an evil coolness to the way it silently jetted to 55+ at each light. RT65 was the perfect place to observe and appreciate the elegance of that automobile. It was really cool.

I saw a bunch of them in LA when i was over there last spring.... I think the performance model goes 0-60 in under 4 seconds.... and Top Gear USA tested it, and went around a track WAY faster than its competitor (cant' remember if it was a M5 or S-class or what it was)

I know that intersection and I can't figure HTF someone could end up there. Seems getting a license is way too easy anymore.

I seen a homeless man looking for donations at the shopping center in Heidelberg. He was holding a sign that said " Veteran down on his luck". Literally 100 feet behind him is a huge sign " Welcome to Lowe's NOW HIRING".

I see that kind of stuff all the time. If I had to work as a cashier at McDonald's or be homeless I'd have no issues working at McDonald's. Besides you get one free meal on shift. People are always looking for a handout I swear.

Hell, that's almost the norm now. I just got done helping my aunt and her boyfriend move while her 27 year old son was looking at himself in the mirror in the bathroom! Meanwhile I'm carrying his garbage to his new cave. WTF, I need to go to the BS section and bitch. lol.

yeah, there are too many jobs around this area for people to be looking for handouts. unfortunately some vets are messed up from war, there is no debating that. there is tons of support in place for them, however. but usually the people out on the streets holding signs are hooked on drugs and it is just too hard nowadays to help anyone out. he could be a heroin addict just trying to make some easy cash so he can go shoot up. guess that is better than going and robbing some granny...

The kicker is the people who actually donate to a lot of these people. In Washington, PA years ago, there was a guy who used to hold up a sign down on Murtland Avenue, and said he needed money for food. They later found out this guy had massive amounts of money and he just dressed up like that to rob people blind.
Maybe I should consider this, since I lost my job and all. Instead of going back to college to go from my A.A.S in Radiology to my B.A in Medical Imaging / Minor in Management.

Oh and John. You should have went in there and slapped that kid silly and then left. What a tool.

I'm looking into that coming up soon. Like I said, I have an A.A.S in Radiological Sciences (X-Ray) and I have the option of x-raying welds for those companies. With my B.A in Medical Imaging and a Minor in Management it gives me a lot of areas to be able to really function in. Teaching, Program Director for Colleges, Director and Manager of Radiology at Hospitals, Manager at Clinics, etc. I also run into the aspect of being able to go into the gas wells and become a radiation surveyor. A lot of those jobs are good salaries with Monday-Friday work and no weekends. Which would be good. I'm also doing this in case I decide I want to move to another state, it leaves my options wide open! Especially if I go south.
