Speed calibrator. 03 5SPD GT???

hEY Whats up. My friends looking to install 4"10 gears in his 5 spd gt. He has the ford racing gears,the bearing kit etc and he's looking to save a couple of bucks by getting a speed calibrator for now instead of a tuner to correct the speedo. Will this work for the time being??? Thanks and let me know so i can forward the information.

I'm not sure if it's the same, but i bought a speedo gear for my 98 from lou for real cheap.

Yes that is what is needed to correct speedo if no handheld tuner. Fairly simple install.

Rob,
Thats the best unit besides the SCT tuner you are going to find. I almost purchased one to correct my oopsed trany swap in my F150 and did 2 weeks worth of research on it.
