Im running a BMR one. It fit decent I guess. I mean it doesnt hit or rub anywhere and it came in red powder coat to match my other suspension stuff. I also see alot of people seem to like the lakewood one, And you can get it in bare steel and paint it yourself which is alot cheaper

I dont know why the guy that teched my car said you have to have a driveshaft loop if you run 14.00 or quiker. IHRA rules states that driveshaft loop is mandatory on any vehicle using racing slicks or 11.49 or quiker. I have one on there, but he couldnt see it cause my car is lowered, kept giving me grief about it LOL. Not a bad idea to put one on, there cheap enuff. I have a Lakewood loop.

I run (and like) the Ford MotorSport / HPM one (sold as FMS, made by HPM)

Summit also now makes a knock off of it although I've never touched one to see if it's the same.

It's larger than a lot of the round style ones and I can change a tranny on my car without taking it down. It's actually a help as I can set the pilot of the tranny inside the bell, and the tailshaft on the loop before I bench press it into place :D You can see it installed in this picture ...

Thanx guyz, my car ain't the quickest so will see on grabbin one here soon. Last two times at PRP I got asked about one, since I got the PRP100mph club stickers on my car.
I gotta get my clutch packs in my posi-unit checked out since I did the 4:10's and maybe even replace them with some kevlar ones, especially since I plan on doin alot more drag racin in the future. So I thought I might as well just get one put on while I was at it. I did hear from a few people if your runnin pretty quick with slicks it's mandatory. But I do like the idea of the ones that are like a U clamp u can unbolt in the middle thou.

Don't listen, read the rull book!

As per the 2010 NHRA Rulebook...

"Driveshaft loop required on all cars running 13.99 or quicker and utilizing slicks; except vehicles running 11.49 seconds or slower equipped with street tires."

A driveshaft loop is mandatory on all vehicles running 11.49 and quicker. There is also construction and location specs for the loop, I'm not typing all the stuff out!

IMO, if your going to the track, you should at least have a loop and helmet.
