It will need repainted, the scratches are down to the surface. I'm most concerned my vinyl strips won't match or line up after whoever repaints it.
I'm think I want W&W do my repairs since they have a lot of experience with GT500's. They basically rebuilt a car last year. What a mess that was! EVERY panel on the car was damaged. I don't understand why that car wasn't totaled!
Wow....sorry to see that. That makes my stomach turn.
Wow, that's terrible ... The storm was pretty nasty, we just got power back on ... right at 24 hours outage.
This breaks my heart to see that :(
Maybe you can get your stripes painted on then?
Ouch man. That sucks.

Sorry that you got caught up in that storm. I know it sucks, but at least a tree didn't fall on it or something like that. The winds were whipping bigtime - could have been a lot worse!!
Hang in there - She'll be all fixed up before cruising season gets here!!
I remember last year after the vintage grand prix I was home with my '66 and the weather started to get really ugly really quick. During the summer I only have 2 spots in my garage. My wife's '66 was in there ( apart ), and my '66 and '90 LX 5.0 were home. I knew the storm was going to be ugly, and I didn't want anything to stay outside and risk being damaged, so I decided to take my '66 to my Dad's building where I have kept it the last few years. I pulled the '90 inside my garage and jumped in the '66 to take it to my Dad's place ( about 1/2 mile away from my house ). In less than a minute, the winds started whipping and it got black as night outside ( at 7pm in July ). Halfway there, I'm ripping up the street, hurrying more than a little, and a BIG tree branch falls from a tree in a front yard, hits the ground, and actually blows across the street right at me, stump end first. I swerved all the way into the other lane, but still ran over the fat end of the branch ( had to be at least 5-6 inches thick ). BOOM!! I had no idea what the damage was, but I drove the last 1/4 mile and pulled into Dad's place, where I found that there was absolutely no damage. I pulled a chunk of wood off the front floor support near where the subframe connector is welded. But that was it - not even a scratch. I couldn't believe it. It could have been SO much worse for me.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that, no matter how careful you are, sometimes stuff happens. I was really lucky, and even though you have some damage, realize it could have been worse. Mother nature really has a chip on her shoulder these days...that bitch!
Good luck getting her all fixed up, good as new!!
