That's fine, you wanted a Glock or similar and based on my knowledge and shooting experiance I gave it to you, he seemed to not agree and that's fine. Choose whatever you like, that's why there''s lots to choose from.

Ill drop my 2 cents in here.

I examine guns for a living and have fired over 1000 firearms to date from over 100 different manufacturers.

I think Taurus makes a pretty good revolver. Their model 85 is a very nice carry gun. I have fired every one of their semi-autos. They are a decent lower priced alternative to a Glock, S&W, or Springfield Armory. What I dont like about them is their trigger pull. It is very long. Its very light till the very end then gets heavier.

You really cant go wrong with a Glock. Ive only had one problem with one in the 100 or so that I have examined.

The guys recommended some good firearms.

If it were me buying a nice 9mm it would be a Glock 19, S&W M&P9, or the Springfield Armory XD9 or the new XDM9.

awesome choice of guns and like i said i like hearing all opinions especially coming from expierence .. i really like the 23 and the 26 . 26 is a smaller nine i think and the 23 is a 40 cal compact size . something i can carry .

What do you mean by examine? If it's ballistic testing of firearms it's pretty hard to determine what a firearm is capable of if only firing a few rnds from it.

Or do you represent a manufacture and actually test firearms for their performance, reliability, accuracy etc.?

It takes years of intense use of a firearm to know what they are capable of.

    Thats a nice gun, congrats! I won a G26 at a gun show earlier this year, I'm not a 9mm or smaller caliber fan, but it's a shooter and a Glock...so it's a keeper

You are correct. I do not put 100s of rounds through each firearm that I examine. I do not perform reliability tests. I do however know how to diagnose problems, replace parts, and determine if something if wrong with a particular firearm. I have attended various armorers courses in order to do so. Even by firing a few round I know what feels good and what doesnt. That may be to me but its still an opinion. So if someone asks for an opinion of a particular firearm ill present mine.

Now if i was on here telling to guy to go buy a Bryco 9mm then you could call me crazy.

Not calling anyone crazy just was wondering what your association with firearms was, armores courses are good, lots to be learned.

Yes if you were recommending bryco I'd call for an imediate ban;)

Congrats and that's a great little gun, I have one and also have a G33. Now get yourself some ammo and go shoot that thing.

You can also use G19 15rnd mags, G17 17rnd mags and G18 33rnd mags, all will work and perform perfectly in that gun.

Haha its cool. We do have an indoor range so I do get to play every once in a while :)

I learn somethign new every day though. Whenever I get something in new im always tearing it apart to see how it works and such.

Why go for a small mag? Get that 31 round extended magazine and really let some lead fly haha.

    Cool job for sure.

I agree, get some 33 rnd mags and have some fun, here's a pic of one in my G17, although it's a 31 rnd mag I have a bunch of the 33 rounders, just a 31 with a +2 base.

Shown with a couple of the 9mm's I have.

Love the OD Green stock on that AR. I would love to have that or Dark Earth. Both look bad ass.

Whats the model on that H&K in the front? I cant rememebr off the top of my head. Fired one of those and thats definately one of the stranger grip safeties I have ever seen.

The HK is a P7M8 and it is one of about 200 factory nickle P7's ever made.
