Belt Squeak? GT500 Question

Well, I made it to NC. Currently staying in Kittyhawk, NC and enjoying the GT500!

When running the car WOT and grabbing the next gear, I hear a chirp between shifts.

I had this problem on my GT when I ran a NAPA belt, but I think I read on another forum it could actually be the clutch TSB?

Anyone have a belt chirp problem on a GT500?

I pulled the belt and it feels like its kinda loose.... But it should chirp whenever I push the clutch petal in when cruising too.... hmm.....

Nevermind... its the belt.

I can get it to do it when driving... Must be a Napa belt :(

Put some rtv on the belt and rip it. That will tell you if its the belt. If it goes away get a gates belt. If it still make noise save your money.
