LFP Intercooler By-Pass

Well after talking to Mark about some parts, I got LFP's new intercooler pump by-pass kit. Looks awesome.. All the parts are pre-cut to length and the instructions are very easy to follow. I will do a write up soon as I can can pull my car out to install.

I'm guessing this is just a fancy switch kit to run the intercooler pump without the ignition on? I looked at LFP's site but couldn't find any info on it. What exactly does it do?

You got Ed. That correct. You could run it from inside or under the hood.

I wired in a switch under hood for $2.50+ about 5 minutes of soldering.

So I imagine they overprice it and use the fact that you don't cut any wires as justification for an expensive switch.

Probably Ed. Actually no wires even need to be cut. If you disassemble the relay box and connector you only need to solder two wires onto the connector and for it to work.

Yeah, I know. But you know everyone will pay the money for it cause they are too afraid to cut anything or be inventive. I just hate when vendors do that shit! It's like the ones that want to sell you the "Boost Bypass" mod.

Anyways, what did you pay for that PJ2?
