What are you looking for and what is your price range? I'll keep my eyes and ears open.

I think one of my friends at the track is selling his Camaro. It's a drag car right now, but could easily be a street car. I'll check in with him.

I don't think you'll have much trouble finding something. Muscle car prices are way down. 20 Grand should buy most anything, but the rarest of Muscle cars.

maybe if you were a little more specific...

    Ford? Chevy? Pontiac? Mercury?...

    Stick? Auto? Stock? Mods?

    Small block? Big block?

What kind of work can you or do you want to do - sheetmetal replacement? - Interior? - Mechanicals?

Narrow it down a bunch and the folks around here will probably find a bunch of potential projects for you to check out. Heck - I bet some of these guys have "extra" projects they might part with.

I understand wanting a muscle car - I've had that itch since the second grade. Give us some more info and let the search begin!

1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands

i would prefer a dodge or pontica such as a challenger, charger, gto but i am open to anything. and stick or auto does not matter and some mods would be nice. I am looking mainly to do some interior work because i do not have much mechanical knowledge yet but i would still take a car that needs some mechanical work done

Craigslist, eBay, Auto Trader, Hemmings Motor News can all be your friends. With that price range you can get yourself a fine runner in pretty good shape. Good luck with the search.

For the last 3 years I've been restoring a black (TX9)1970 Charger RT that is a numbers matching 440 6 pak, 4 speed, super track pack 4.10 dana car. It's done now thank god. It all depends what you're looking for. Mopars are incredibly expensive to restore and to find a descent starter car because they rotted so bad back in the day. If you do find a descent starter you're going to spend 15-20 for something that needs restored. I have several contacts in the Mopar business if you're looking for something. Let me know.
