    Stang wont start

I forgot to shut off my sirrius radio in the car 2 days ago and it killed the battery. Chargerd the battery, now the car wont start. I got spark, starter is engaging but no fuel. I checked emergecy fuel shut off, OK. I pulled the fuel relay and jumpered the connection, fuel pump energized. Went and got new relay still wont start. Any help?????????? Its a 88 5.0 GT.

so the pump works? Is there fuel at the rails? Try an easy part like the filter first and work your way up to the injectors.

The pump kicks on when I jump out the relay connector. But when I put the new relay on and try the key the pump will not work!

Maybe the ignition switch went bad? I had a neutral safety go bad while my car was down a few days. The fuel pump kicks when its jumpered, but nothing when the key is on the "run" position. I believe its also cut off when the key is in the "start" position. Could try jumpering the hot lead from the ignition switch directly to the relay feed. I believe its the large diameter yellow wire coming out of the ignition harness.

I started a thread in another forum for a similar problem. I pulled the interior out to put new floors in my 86 GT and after reinstalling, I can't get the fuel pump to work. I'm new to the Fox thing. All this electronics, relays and EFI stuff is a little different than the good ole carbureted stuff.

Couldnt get it fixed so it went to the garage and the relay for the ECU was bad. $14 part!
