What mods does the car have? Didn't see anywhere on the youtube video. Curious how much they did to get a 127 trap.

Here's some new information from Livernois as posted on SVTPerformance...

    From the youtube video...
Livernois Motorspsorts Tuned 2011 5.0L Mustang GT. PLEASE NOTE: I talked to our tuner and he accidentally did the first pull in 4th gear. So the actual baseline today after 2,000 + miles was 391 RWHP / 385 RWTQ, but the final numbers were 415 RWHP / 399 RWTQ as posted.
    the video:

Thanks. The cobalt may be getting traded in on one this winter once the hysteria around these things calms down a bit. Going to get hillclimbed, trying to see how easy it really is to get power out of them reliably.

Checked those out, and their website, still didn't find any kind of modification list. Want to know how they trap 127 NA. And on a side note, holy **** are bolt ons pricey for that car. 600 for an x-pipe. I will be doing a lot of fab work if I buy one.

    In the 9's already...

Congrats to Richard Lelsz and Strictly Performance on running the first 9-second run with a 2011 5.0L Mustang GT.

The shop swapped out the stock six-speed manual trans for a C4 and then he plumbed a direct port nitrous system. Using prototype tuning software, Lelsz threw down 656 rwhp this morning on the dyno.

The white GT features upper and lower control arms, Bogarts all around, and the aforementioned parts.

Tonight during Test And Tune at Houston Raceway Park, Lelsz ran 9.96 at 137 mph right off the trailer! Congrats to the entire team on running so quickly with the shop ride and pushing the boundary even further.

I'd like to know too as those guys have a shady reputation and it makes you have to question the results. I hope its right though, even if it is gutted to hell and back. I haven't looked at the aftermarket stuff yet, I'm still in shock over the nearly $40K sticker for a nicely equipped GT... that's a lot of bones for a damn GT. I still want one but I only see a used one in my future.

Yeah, It will be a used one for me too. Not to say I didn't think about it. The good thing is we will be able to see how the aftermarket is. Reliability issues and etc...

I priced one out with the options I want (Brembos and 3.73's) and with my wife's x-plan it was right around 30K, that is a lot of money but for the performance you can't beat it. An evolution was my other option and they are pushing 40K, with no options. I'm probably going to have to order one though, hard to find them that stripped, most I've seen are in fact pushing 40K.
