PRP is trying to put on a fun event dedicated to street legal only vehicles. I think it's smart to keep it to the 1/8th mile, because of (hopefully) the new faces that will be in the lanes, and who have never been down the track before. Safer, and less abuse on vehicles that may not be able to handle a 1/4 flog.
So then have a new driver orientation day?

Lets drive to the drag strip and pay the same amount test n tune is to run half track and get no timeslips!

Atleast flashlight drags is cool because its like... not at a drag strip.

Well there were a few cars. I left at 8:30 cause I was getting mad at myself for the traction issue. But you could hot lap no waiting, I let my car cool twice for over 20 minutes eac time and still prolly got 15 runs....

Some people will never get it and just like to put PRP down. I just laugh it off now because it almost like a joke anymore. All the street car guys wanted there own day and since there is so fuss about how much people love the FLD's PRP made a similar event. Its street cars only which everyone wanted, its open lanes meaning you can run the shit out of your car if wanted, You run off a stop light because its supposed to resemble street racing, there are no timeslips because its STREET GRUDGE RACING not a TNT, TNT was thursday.1/8 for safety reasons and the people watching can see the finish line which is cool and once again it is meant to be like the FLD.

I had a great time and got about 10 runs in. Had my ass handed to me by a Camaro though. It was a little better turn out than I expected. Nice meeting and talking to you Chargin2004GT.

Couldn't go to the BRA. Spent the afternoon at my nephew's b-day party, then helped my dad get his car ready to race.
