    Street tires for a 2008 BMW M3?

Got a friend with one, and he wants summer tires. He's going to go with OEM (Michelin Pilot Sport PS2), but I suggested Nitto 555's. Unfortunately they don't make one for his size of his staggered pattern (265/35-19 rear, 245/35-19 front).

Given that he doesn't do burnouts or other manuevers that waste rubber more than spirited driving, whats the grippiest tire in the dry out there that has a shot at lasting 15k miles? He's willing to sacrifice wet traction if it means he can launch and corner like he's cuckoo for cocopuffs :)

41 views and no opinions on the ultimate nuclear street tire in the dry for this kind of application?

If your BMW buddy is waiting on his buddy who used to own an SRT-4 to get him answers concerning his tire choice from a local Mustang website, than he was fvcked way before today.

nitto makes the NT05 in 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. I don't think 4mm is gonna throw his speedo off that far. and I think Nittos tend to run "small".

Here are some links to the only 3 I could find that would be sticky-ish. Of the 3, the Nittos and Yokos are going to be the stickier ones.

EDIT - I should check if my BMW psuedonym is still valid there. I got banned once for posting that my SRT4 crushed a 750il and that my interior was way better

I'd stick with the Pilots if it were me, they're nice tires. Kinda pricey, but good
