My next time out it will do an 11.?? pass. I can assure you that. How deep into the 11's is unknown. Mind you, the car is not set up at all for drag racing. Once I do the rear arms and set that all up it will go tens for sure.

That one nice and fast car you have there Rob but I wouldn't be so fast as to say it will go 10's for sure. It has the potential but 10's aren't a cake walk unless you are adding more power. 11's is a definite though.
Once I get some good numbers on this and the year is over, I will be adding the final round of power to it. My main problem now is the gear issue. I need less or the taller tire. That will be taken care of this week though.

The car has the power for 10's the way it is now, everything else just has to be working with it and you can get in there. What gear are you running and what RPM did you cross the finish line at?
I went 10.80 with that motor on a 150 hit
The gear is a 3.73. I was crossing on the limiter. It was at 7000+ I have not set it yet where it should be and I was hitting it way early. Seemed like I was on it for ever. HAHA I would have to guess probably 200' or more short of the traps. I have a couple sets of tires lined up to try. Its basically which ever fit is whats going to be on for thursday providing I get my t boxes done. One set is 26x9, another is 27-10.50 amd 28-10.50. The 28 will be ideal to give me the run I need and take the gear away. I want to pull all the way to the end. I really dont want to be on or near the limiter at any point. Its just too high for the stock block.

I run a 3.31 gear and a 275/50/15 tire, going thru the traps at 6000 rpm. What kinda power adder do you have?
89 Vert, Stock block, H/C/I , DIY turbo kit MPT70 , Tweecer RT, C4 trans. 17 lbs boost. 3400#s - 10.3 @ 136 mph.
Dyno Jet - 542 RWHP / 545 RWTQ
Vortech V1 S. 8" lower and 3.33 upper. Over 15 lbs through the traps. Intercooled.

A taller tire, good 60' and keep off the rev limiter, should be 10s no problem.

Thats the plan buddy!!!! I just finished my rear torque boxes. Just have to put 1 bolt in and the interior.
Now I need to find some rear arms real quick.
