Good run Mike. No offense to the Corvette guys, but it feels good to beat a 'vette. I've gotten lucky once or twice against them.

It was definitely luck for me but a race is a race, I can die a happy man knowing my $7000 car beat a $120,000 car. That ZR1 is beautiful though.

I was running the red C5 Z06 when he broke. Really was looking forward to line up against a Vette.

Traction was a serious issue for me on the street tires, but was pretty happy with the out come, especially the trap on 14psi.

I was using my HDR app on my iPhone, it takes 2 pics and combines them. If you look at all of the pics you can spot something.

I've heard nothing but bad things with aftermarket axles... I remember all the trouble Burntire had with them.

Yeah I heard the stock axles are strong its the wheel hop and what not you have to worry about. Also gotta make sure the diff ain't moving around.

Probably not, It's a street car that I drag race once and a while and I still want it to turn left and right too.

Shouldn't stop you from doing wheelies

After reading everything on full tilts site and svtp...I may go that way next year too. You keeping your irs brace or going with a different diff cover? Anyone ever figure out which way is stronger? Figure I might as well ask since I'm sure you've read up on this lol.

I think the brace will be fine for what I'm going to do after the FTB install.

SAC81, I saw the Monte and was impressed by the ET and MPH, that's way cool.

Bob, more RPM was not the answer for me. :D Also wounded at the moment, not sure what it is yet. Somewhere between the tailshaft and the pinion, hopefully something simple like a bolt out of the driveshaft loop is causing the vibration/noise I'm getting. Supposed to race the Classic kick off at Norwalk Sunday, so I hope it's nothing big.

Lots of cool rides out there Saturday, impressive cars.

Just a note, PRP site has corrected the times. Gates open at 11am, runs start at noon.
