    Question TKO 600 speedo ?

I had a tko 600 put into my 01 and the speedo and tach havent worked since it was put in. There are 2 connectors on the tranny; one on the drivers side rear, and the other on the passenger side in the middle. Im pretty sure this is why the speedo hasnt been working. Problem is there is nothing to plug them into. Am i missing something here? Also the last picture is a random connector in my passenger wheel well, any idea what it is? PLEASE HELP!!

The switch thats on the rear pointing up is for a GM. You must have a GM trans in there. The front side 2 prong plug is your reverse lights. The rear with the short harness attached is, I think, your neutral safety switch. Mine is unplugged.

hmmm, so youre saying the first picture is my neutral safety switch unplugged, and the second picture is a speedo sensor for a GM? but shouldnt there still be a plug a speedo sensor coming from my wiring harness somewhere?

Not sure how your car is set up but on the drivers side of the tailahaft extension, there is a provision for a speedo. I am sure yours is electronic. Is there any plug of some sort?

yea it should be an electronic signal since i have an 01. I just crawled under there again and on the drivers side right above the crossmember i found this. it looks like something should go inside of it.

you need a speed cal, i had a similar problem with another car i had...that type of electronic pick up doesnt count as many revolutions as your old puck style. i bet if you go fast enough youll start to see the speedo

Call D&D Performance in Wixom, MI on Monday. I have a few ideas, but not sure, so you're best to just call someone that does know.

Im not sure, some trannys have the provisions for both pick ups, your basically using the cable driven pick up.
I guarantee you thats your issue

i figured it out. they plugged it in to the old vss (last pic) instead of the newer speed sensor on the other side (second pic).
