    Help Please! Autometer Tach Problem!

Hey guys. I have a 2003 Cobra that I just placed the sport comp tach in. I had it in my foxbody mustang and it was working when i took it out today. I bought the autometer tach adapter and put everything on currectly. The shift light works and I am able to change where the shift light comes on and off at according to my factory tach due to the autometer tach is and was stuck at 6,800 RPM ever since taking it out of the fox. It will not move the needle at all and we rechecked all grounds and everything. If any information givin, it would be greatly appriciated! Thank you!
