NHRA Norwalk

I'm heading out Sunday with Mark (mlowry1260) and meeting my brothers and friends from Toledo.

Heading out to be there bright and early to watch everything on Friday morning. Love Stock and Super Stock, plus the Pro Mods this year!!! Woo hoo! I'm not a big swingset fan, but even Top Dragster should be impressive. Heading back after the fireworks Friday night to race here Saturday... I'll be a tired pup.

I've been really wanting ta get to Norwalk for a NHRA event. I used to go to Columbus when they had'em their back in the day along with the one in Reading. We went to Maple Grove last year for the first time in years thou and it was just aWesome!!

Norwalk is nicer than Maple Grove or Columbus. The track is easy to get to as well.

The Wife and I are heading up Saturday and will be there for Final Eliminations on Sunday! Same seats every year!

Anyone, if you have the chance to see nitro cars in person, take it! TV does not do it justice... the way the cars feel and smell, and the sound is incredible.

Maple Grove is a nice track, and usually a pretty quick one on the Friday session. Columbus, I liked just for the fact it was easy to get to as well, and it was the closest to us for nitro.

for sure everyone needs to experience nitro at least once.

i would be going but heading to texas this weekend to pick a car up.

Their is really nothing in the whole world like some Nitro passes thats for sure!!!
I put it like this to people, feels like your heart skips a bit, u get a whole body buzz along with your hair feelin like its standin up, ur vision gets blurred along with ur eyes n nose burnin a bit and in that 3-4 seconds everything freezes and stops!!
