    Clay barring your car

I have a new found respect for those who use a clay bar on their cars regularly. That is like work.

I'm due for another clay job on the GT. Nothing like tossing a towel on the hood of your car and slowly watching it slide off.

Yeah Im kinda bad at times. I work at my buddies detail shop on the side and Im constantly going over cars again b/c they dont meet my standards. Most of the time the customer gets more than they paid for b/c I cant stop. lol

But my DD suffers. I spend so much time on the stang that when it comes to the exploder I just run it threw the car wash b/c it sits out and constantly gets dirt

Anyone ever wash their car b/c its dusty from sitting in the garage like I have?

I just clay barred the GN, cause it had some marks in the paint and was a little ruff. It was a b*tch but man what a difference it made.

I have to do it every week... that's why i try not to wash the car until right before i take it out.... my apartment's garage is below my apartment... and the cieling of the garage is just the wood floors from above, so just from walking around, lots of dust trickles down on my bikes/car.... kinda blows, but there's nothign i can do..

You guys crack me up! The clay bar is only one small step in a long line of work detailing my car. Heck the truck gets it once a year too.

    Body:
    Wash and dry
    clay
    wash and dry
    buff
    buff lighter compound
    glaze
    wax
detail spray (Seems to help seal the wax I use and helps it last longer.)

    Engine bay:
Wet rags or a spray bottle and soap
Little brushes for all the little places I cant reach
    polish that KB!!

    Interior:
    I hate cleaning the inside!!

    Under:
Yep pull that exhaust and wheels!
Clean wheel wells, suspension arms/shocks, fule tank cover bla bla bla.

    My new step:
    Clean the CCWs!!

Thank you! Yours look great also and I love the sound of your cams. That other SB Cobra kicking my butt on the way home had me thinking even harder about getting some. Just when I thought I was done.

Oh it has traction now thats for sure. Your front end went up and you took off. About that time I dropped to second and ended up just under 5k and had to shift back to third quickly. By that time I was holding on the best I could but I wasn't exactly realing you in. I did however put an end to that freight train pull you had on me. LOL

I never did hear that 2.8 KB say a word. She was in stealth mode but that exhaust was sure screaming in my ear.
