List your favorite local tire dealers

So I've been researching my tires and think I have it down to the Sumitomo HTR ZIII's and the Nitto NT555's. I was wondering if you guys had any favorite local tire dealers that can compete with (or beat) the on-line giants (Tire Rack & Discount Tire Direct)?

Feedback on my tire choices also welcomed...

Nitto's would be my choice. Sumi's are garbage.

Although it'll be a far drive for you, you may want to call Tim at http://www.tireshopinc.com and tell him I sent you. He just quoted me on a set of 315-35-17 Nitto DR's and his price was right in-line with the big companies and his price included mounting and balancing.

I use J&T Tire on Rt.8, great guys and prices. They do my inspections too. My buddy Mike (smallville is his user name on here) works there.

They can get nittos and such, you just have to have them order the tires first.

I would also steer clear of Sumi's... they're cheap for a reason.

I also only use Tim at the tire shop in portage PA. Well unless its something he cant get for me. He always beats anyones price but i have also been doing business and bullshitting with him for like 8 years.

hell even if he couldnt beat someones price i would still buy off him cause he actually treats the car nice and neverrrrr scratches a wheel.
