Nice good day at track saterday. Got there and yanked my 24lb injectors and MAF out and put stockers back in(pink 21's) Also yanked the E3 spark plugs and put a used set of NGK Irdiums I had back in. Gonna go with copper set but forgot them. First time run forgot to add fuel at 2-4k and 4-7k as I had the 24's on lean side. So first pass was a 12.37@109.17 spinning a lil on a hot track to a 1.65, left at 6500. Next run I added the fuel to bring it back to baseline of tune and added .5* timing at 4-7k. Runs 12.31@109.22 spinning a lil to a 1.65 on a still hot track. Picked up 1mph in 1/8.

1st rnd dial a 12.31 and now sun is down and track has cooled off to perfect temp. Car dead hooks to a 1.61 and with no tire spin just kills the motor down(needed more rpm). Ran a 12.41@108.75 and won 1st rnd with big help from a .017 light. Back to pit thinking car should have ran better. I added another 2% fuel from 4-7k and set 2step for 6700(up 200rpm). Dial a 12.32, redlite with a -.008 and of course other car goes -.002 red running it out goes 12.23@110.46(best mph of the year post headswap) with a 1.60 sixty. Just left perfect with maybe 1/2 turn off line. Leaving level and straight picking up front end and carrying it out nicely as it settled gently. Pass just felt so good. My car for some reason loves the stock injectors and MAF. Just need to play with fuel settings some more. Just need to get past this pesky low 12.2's wall car just refuses to go past.

Time run from saterday 8/28 this is only leaving at 6500 and had meh sixties of 1.65 on hot track. Soon as track cools down thing hooks even better leaving harder in the 6700-6800 range. So yes more rpm is good

Stiff sidewalls or no? What size? QTP or Drags? Looks like they are slick but I think you mentioned QTPs above.

Nice picture Ed! I wish someone would have got that more frontal shot of mine Friday ;) Still looks like it could use more RPM :D

Mike, Ed cn give you the details, but he is running QTP's as well. His are wider and taller than mine (bastard ;) )

I'm using Hoosier QTP's 27x11.5x15(this set is just under 28" tall) To me they seem to have a stiffer sidewall then a slick. I may contact Hoosier to verify this.

Bob I wish it was a pic from 1st or 2nd round when it was leaving harder. Like to see what it's doing then. This pic the front suspension is at full drop when center of wheels or at bottom edge of doors but it looks nice and level.
