Not a lot to take pictures of, but I now have my Microsquirt installed, the car starts, and idles. Right now I have it where it will take some throttle, and mostly can free rev to 6200 under no load. I need a couple more hours on the basic stuff, then it's time to start drive tuning it
I started yesterday afternoon with ripping out all of the Ford stuff, swapping injectors, getting the ACT sensor in (GM part) MAP Sensor (GM Part) etc. Had all of the wires to my junction point to start wring this morning. Once all the wires was in place and terminated, spent 10 minutes getting the laptop to comunicate, about 15 minutes to figure out I had the trigger angle backward :( , then 10 minutes to get ti to start (poorly). Messed with the VE table for a few minutes, got it to start, then it came together pretty good.
Effectively, there are no more Ford electronics on the car (EEC-IV, etc), no more mass air meter, nothing.
I have this set up for direct coil control, so the Squirt is providing a trigger to my MSD ignition box, then that is doing direct coil firing.
This also got 80# injectors in there. Amazing how well it controls injectors that big at idle.
Still LOTS of tuning left, but it starts and idles :D
