Back to the 50's weekend in New Castle...

Every year there is a car cruise at Cascade Park in New Castle on the 4th of July weekend....I had the pleasure of spending 2 days with Terry and the guys from StreetLethal....Kevin, Ryan and I spent most of the day there on Saturday....And I spent the afternoon there on Sunday..

I have to thank Terry for the free weekend pass that he gave me. He had an awesome spot by the burnout strip that he had his Dyno set up on. Yes...that is correct...He brought the Dyno...It was an awesome time to see what type of numbers these cars there were putting down. Alot of the cars had more bark than bite as people who have never had a run done before. Still... Big Daddy's Mach1 had the most bark and bite there!!

....I took a few pics towards the end...I'm sure Terry will add more tho..Here are the pics as well as my little contribution to the rubber on the road.....Thanks again Terry!!!

SWEET burnout man!! I wish I could have made it back today with the Cobra but I had the family stuff already lined up.

It was fun BSn with the old school muscle car guys.

...I know. We had a big couple of days. I'm glad you could hang out last nite...We had a blast. I know there will be alot more time to cruise....

It was a good time. I hated to leave but the wife was pretty bummed about her family leaving and going back down south. To make her feel better we took a ride on the cycle when I got home.

Yeah, some of those cars didn't put out some real good #'s like I was expecting.

BTW nice burn-out Chris.

I was there Saturday - The curb where you first pull down into the park ripped off my front splitter..I won't be back.

Sorry to hear about your car. I was checking out the TF and they look sweet. Its just to bad the owner of the company is a D-bag or he would be doing better business.

Had a blast there all weekend, i know terry really appreciates everyone who stopped by, it was nice to have some more bad ass stangs around down there.... and who knows... maybe we can talk him into bringin the dyno to more events lol

Monkey....Saw your car, but didn't see you. Sorry to hear about your splitter. Your car looked AWESOME by the way!!!

Brandon....It would have been nice to see you there on Sun... I think you would have had a blast. The mach pegged the dyno at 1000hp...They had to recalibrate it for 2k. You have to see that car up close. The thing is a monster!!!

I wish i had remembered that I had my camera or I would have taken more pics. The cars at the show are the same cars you find in Wexford at Starlight or any other big cruise. People camp out in the park and they have oldies bands all weekend. From what I've been hearing, this may have been the last weekend for the event....All in all it was a good time!!!!
