    1988 Thunderbird Turbocoupe - 5 speed

    Will sell whole or partout.

Car runs/drives/brakes excellent. Body is a little beat with dents/dings/rust.

If there isn't any interest in the car as a whole I will be keeping the complete drivetrain (engine/trans/rear) and selling everything else (body/interior/susp) and then it's going to the crusher. If you want any specific parts pm me.

Will sell entire car for $900 firm...drive it home!

Car just ran out of inspection but that's only because my buddy (who I was letting use it) bought a truck since it was needed more than a car.

Car has lots of new parts on it including rear brakes, steering rack and hoses, timing belt and tensioner, high output headlight kit, clutch master and slave cylinders....etc.

Car has about 130k on it I believe. Rearend was gone through 10k miles ago. All electronics work!

Car is pretty much all stock except it does have a cone filter and manual boost controller set to 15psi.

Only thing I would recommend is getting the strut tower on the driverside patched up with some steel. It has a good bit of rust there...aka holes.

Here are some older pics....body looks a good bit rougher than this now...interior is pretty much the same.

Car is located in Eighty Four.

I may be interested in the seats if they're in as good a shape as they look in the pic.

That's my old beater so if there are any questions that John is unsure of, feel free to shoot me a PM.

The seats were out of a car Don (DonStang86) was parting out. They were in pretty good shape physically and I hit them with a couple coats of VHT dye.

The pics are a couple of years old, but here's a link to a few additional photos:

Thanks Dave....I figured you'd chime in here.

I forgot to add that the car has nearly all new brake lines too. And the parts listed above (except for the headlights) are less than 1 yr old.

If I were going to drive it around daily I would have some steel patches welded in around the strut tower.

Congratulations on the sale. One of the greatest moments in my life was when I sold my Turbocoupe. I hated that car!!! I am not bashing Turbocoupes just the one I owned.
