LOL, you would have me covered right now. Since I swapped the EMS from EEC to Squirt I still need to find a few tenths and a few MPH that are still lost in the tune. I "think" I found most of it at Columbus, but can't prove it until I fix the header (again).

It does look like a good race on paper ;)

Man I wish I had gone to Columbus. I was ahead in points at PRP at the start of this weekend, so I didn't go. I had a hell of a time making that decision to start with. Well here it is Sunday night and I lost my lead in points and ended up with 12 staples in my head after I cracked it on a beam. I won't be chasing points anymore. It's too damn aggravating. I had way more fun just seeing how fast I could make the car go. What a shitty weekend 4 me, but I am glad you guys had fun. Anybody do true street this year?

That's my deal any more. Most of the 2.3 guys ran True Street. We had a great time hanging out together and enjoying being at the track. No aggrivation no pressure, just a good time. Most of us knew we didn't have a shot at winning anything, and did it anyway.

Hope things work out with your noggin. Sounds like it hurts ...

LOL, we missed you out there this year. Dale showed up to hang out and asked where you was.

Our group (mostly in alternate cars) put in a decent showing in T/S. Jeff McCool (86 5.0 car) had the 12.00 average until they DQ'd him for having DS-2 fronts on his car (not DOT). He laughed that off as he was running real Hoosier slicks too :D Jim McCool took a good shot at the 13.00 (Saleen Mustang) average but fought traction on 17" real street tires. Flanders struggled to run the good numbers but had still had it won until he blew it up at 900 feet on his last pass and had to settle for runner up (lost a line from his fuel pump and went lean). He did go 154 MPH into a 20 mph head wind so his stuff was making power. I generally just failed but had fun.

Those wouldn't have won (if it makes you feel better), close for sure (add three runs together, then divide by three for average).

    Winning 14.00 average - 14.027
    Your 3 run average - 14.032

Also keep in mind, the three passes was hot lap and there was no track prep done as it went on (sun was out and it got greasy). No idea how that might affect your car, but it's a great test of a combo for sure.

Add in the pressure of running in front of all the national magazine coverage, all the spectators, and your fellow competitors and you might have crumbled Yeah, running the brackets was way better

Ahhhh I gotcha, I do now remember u mentioning that when we talk'd. It does make me feel a bit better to know I wouldn't have won it on those passes. I would of been kickin my own rear for a long time if I would off!
My first pass their my nerves were really goin thou. I had my vent on full blast tryin to dry my palms out, .
Btw I'd like to see that race between u and speedracer too! In some of the NMRA class races they're were just that close in #er's!
