    viper ed's viper?

So I dont really know anyone all that well on here, but I am just wondering if viper ed ever got another viper after the coolant problem he had with the last one? I see the new avatar and I have to admit I was drooling ove a dodge.. haha If you do still own one, any 1/4 mile times or anything like that? I always wanted to own one, or heck get a ride in one for that matter. They are definately amazing machines.

That pic in my Avatar is of my old one. I haven't got another one yet. Still waiting to find the one that I really want. The early model ones are not that fast in the 1/4 mile, but there is no other car from the factory out there that compares to the all around performance and handling that they offer.

Haha if you ever get another one, I will pay you for a ride lol. I've been lookin for a 93 I know the calipers are different, but I dont mind. They still seem to be in the 35K range though which is just too much for me at this point. Maybe some day. Are they very problematic? I've heard the older T-56 dosent like going into gear very well. There is just something about those sidepipes, the bright red paint, and the lines of that car that makes me drool.

i like the gts's over the rt's would love to have one myself someday too.
just something you don't see everyday.

the early ones always seem to be for sale very reasonably in the 30's with low miles.

I agree that the gts is a fine looking car, and for the $$ being spent, it would be nice to have such features as outside door handles, and windows that are in the doors and can be rolled up. but I cant get over the sidepipes and 3 spoke wheels.. that car is just yelling "I was made to do one thing.. whoop your cars ass!" haha and lets face it, in 1992 when it was introduced.. whoop ass it did.. I'll take an RT/10 please. And if I ever come across an extra 30-35g's laying around, you better beleive thats the FIRST thing I am buying. lol I should probally try to talk the person down a few k though to be able to afford gas for a month. I hear they get between 8-10mpg if you're NOT running them hard.

I GOT TO DRIVE A SUPERCHARGED ONE. IT WAS ONLY MAKING 705HP AT THE FLYWHEEL. NO FUN HAVING ALL THAT POWER ON STREET TIRES AND IN TRAFFIC. IT MADE TO HARD TO HEAT UP TIRES TO GET ANY KIND OF TRACTION.

The 94's generally are the cheapest of the 1st Gen. to buy. Some 93's were actually 92 carryover's like mine was. I never had any problem with the T-56 going into gear, other than that dam annoying 1 - 4 skip shift at low RPM.
