    Just got my flowmasters!

I doubt I need to post pics of these because I'm sure everyone on here knows what a catback flowmaster kit looks like, but mine just arrived from jegs! I can't wait to pull her out and throw these things on there.. I'm hoping it will be loud, and I think it should be since its already got hooker super comp. long tubes on it. It's the American Thunder kit with the polished stainless tips. Anyhow, not really big news, but something I was excited about haha.

What all did you have to do to it for a proper fit? Any info would help. Thanks!

I sure hope it will sound like a mustang with flowmasters on it.. I just meant I think it will be a bit louder than most since it has the long tube headers and no cats. I'll try to post a sound clip as soon as I get it installed.

I have the Flowmaster Super 40 series muffs on my Cobra and it is great! Loud when ya want it to be without being annoying or droning.

Yep, sure do. For example, PJ1's is loud. Your car is annoyingly loud(at least to me). Remember that I was next to you on the way to the dyno shop and couldn't hear my cell phone conversation with my windows up!

Note: I edited my post as I realized that it sounded rude to you Dan. Sorry bout that man. :)

Back in the day on my '90 5.0 I ran a Crane 2040 cam, the same specs as the E303, and it loped really nice.

It's a comp cams XE-274. 0.555" lift on the intake and 0.565" on the exhaust. Duration is 274 intake and 282 exhaust, 224 & 232 @ 0.050". The LSA on mine is 110 degrees. Piston to valve clearance would be really tight with this cam though depending on which heads you run, I just got a set of aftermarket pistons to be safe.

Cool, it's going back in the garage soon. Gotta get that thing back on the road, I haven't driven it in forever. Also if I put it in the garage maybe people will stop putting notes on it trying to buy it, wtf?
