408" SBF 351W Stroker short block engine $700 OBO

Shortblock:

- late model 351W hydraulic roller Windsor block

- Block bored .030 over, line honed, decked, chamfered

- 1 piece rear main seal

- studded main caps with girdle - ARP fasteners

- 4340 (Scat) Forged Crank

- 4340 (Scat) H-bean rods - ARP fasteners

- Probe dish SRS full floating pistons, fly cut for inline and
Twisted Wedge

- cam bearings installed

Had this engine built by a shop on the west coast and shipped to
me three years ago. It has about 5000 miles and had the oil changed
many times.

This with a set of TW heads and a supercharger went 10.3 @ 139
in my Mustang and Dyno'd at 700HP/700TQ at 5800 rpms

Pistons 7 and 8 broke above the ring land last year and I am
selling the shortblock. several other cylinders show collateral damage
from the pieces of piston. cylinder walls look ok but I have not removed the
pistons to determine if a hone or .040 bore is required. Pistons are
the only damage I can see.

FYI - no oil pan, no oil pump, no oil pump pickup included

Engine has been SOLD.
I did not give up, but won't be doing anything until next summer.
Decided not to rebuild this engine and go bigger next year.
Bigger block, bigger heads, bigger intake, bigger cam, bigger injectors, bigger supercharger.

I will be posting my Si trim next, that and the cam is all I have left to get rid of.
