    What happens when you put 500+rwhp through an off-the-shelf cheap torque converter

    Lesson learned, spend the money for a custom converter.

    BTW I cut it open to see what happened.

    I got it from Bulkpart.com , its called a C4 Igniter . The box it came in said Durabuilt Converters . Did'nt seem to be too durable

    Wasn't that loud, but it made a lockup converter out of a non-lockup one

    I'm still debating on what company to use, who did you go with?

    hmm thats weird lenny always seems to be very busy, but everytime I call him I get to talk to him for awhile. Maybe call him and let him know your serious?
