That's about the cheapest you can build one for. Might be an early FFR car. Factory Five is currently selling their 4th generation roadster. Each generation has incorporated design changes / improvements in the mechanicals and also the quality of the body shells.

I built a Factory Five roadster with a buddy years ago, and the kits are pretty well engineered. If you're going to drive / enjoy the car and not just let it sit in the garage, a Factory Five is the way to go. Tons cheaper than other kits ( Superformance, ERA, LoneStar, Backdraft, etc. ), and very reliable and streetable due to the Mustang running gear. A stock fox 5.0 in a Factory Five will easily run the quarter mile in the high 12's. Toss in a nice 393 stroker and look out!!!

12.76 @ 114.04 bone stock. Koni yellow coil-overs, BMR watts, LCA and LCA relo brackets, Borla S-type axle back.

1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands

When i restored CSX-2575 it had a Allied glass roadster body installed back in late 1966 the body was on till i restored it in 1998 and installed a 289 Aluminum FIA body.
I bought the Allied and duped the original 289 Cobra chassis but went double wishbone instead of transverse leaf spring. I found out later it's one of three Allied slabside known to exist!
