EGR Question?

I have an 01 Cobra, and wondering if anyone had any experience with taking off the EGR valve, along with the tube down to the header. I know you would have to plug the tube fitting off at the header and make a plate to block off the hole in the manifold, but other than that what else can you take off ? Or will this mess something up?

I'm going to get a custom tune this spring, will that take care of any problems?

FORD sells an OEM EGR delete kit for $20. everything you need.

remove EGR in tune and your fine.

Like Jared said, Ford sells both parts needed to remove the EGR on mod motors. The only thing is, untill you get the chip you will have a check engine light for the EGR.
