    Parting out: 89 5.0 auto convertible

    I just picked this thing up today, my old man drove it home and says it ran and drove excellent on the way back to the shop. Its really rusty underneath so I think its best to part it out. This car was owned by the same little old lady since 1990. She says she always used moble 1 synthetic oil since new, it has 104,000 miles on it. Here is a partial list of the good stuff.

    5.0 longblock, complete
    5.0 AOD transmission
    8.8 rear
    140 mph speedo (only year that is right for swaping into 87 -88 models)
    Complete mass air conversion (only year that is a direct plug n play for 87 88 models)
    Nice front and rear LX bumper covers
    Nice front fenders
    Nice hood
    Nice RH door
    Awesome tan interior- ashtray door even works
    LX tail lights
    Tan convertible top- Dirty but excellent shape
    Factory radio

    Lou, will the wiring harness work in my 86 notch if I switch the entire harness? If so how much for the whole harnes(engine, dash, body, o2, FI, everything?

    Also need the convertible top cylinders and possibly the frame?

    Also Lou did you get my pm?

    The 89 mass air harness is a direct plug in for 87 - 88 cars, you unplug your computer harness and plug this one in. 400.00 for the computer, harness, and mass air.

    how rusty, I know someone looking for one, is it frame damaged/ ect? could it be put back on the road?
