    Suggestion/Question Patch Panels

Well when I went to fit my patch panels in my engine bay they didnt seem to fit all the way down. I'm assuming this is from he car being on jackstands up front and some chasis twist/tweak.

Well I trimmed the panels and kinda got a lil over zealous and now have a lil gap to fill about a 3/16 of a inch between the panel and shock tower lol.

What product could i use to fill this and have it able to be primed and painted??

    Thanks
    Shane

Shane, If you have that much between the panel and the strut tower you can fix it. If you have a big gap all the way down, or just in certain areas, you can take some small pieces of steel, (same thickness as the new panel) and tack them to the new cover, and then to the strut tower. When you get it in place, grind down the tacks and put a skim coat of mud to cover it. If you want to call me I can walk you through the process.
    Thanks, Scott
