Okay i bought a aod trans but overdrive is burnt out nd a t-5 is gonna cost me 800 if i get it off a guy from here.. so rite now im lookn 4 anything that i can put in and that wont crap out.. t-5 if its a resonable price or another auto let me c wat u got 4 sale..

u can find mint condition t-5's for $400-$500 at most....dont even consider it if they are asking more than that unless its fully built.

and remember if you convert from aod to t5 you'll need pedal assembly, bell housing, clutch cable/quadrant/fork/throw out bearing, flywheel, and clutch/pressure plate among other things

I don't know if it will work or not but i have a pretty new aid from an '89 lincoln town car. It had an efi 302 in it. Do some research and let me know.

Dude, I wasn't asking $800 for the trans, that was for the aluminum flywheel, stage 3 clutch, bell, trans, cable and shifter. That is a pretty big difference. You want the trans only see price stated above. And the poster above me rebuilt it.
