I got to ride along with Melvin on Saturday as he made a short trip around the block in his badass pro-street machine!
Gotta love those 5.4 - 4 valve engines!!

Tune is still being worked on/data logged and Melvin has to put a few miles on this combo before it can hit the dyno.
As good as the torque feels just cruising around, it should make a LOT of power!!

Can't explain really how sick that car looks. Believe thats the first GT500 I've seen with a massive blower sticking out of the hood like that, badass!!

Those bikers were a bit envious it seems, saw them 2-3 times in the video lol!

Project update -
The original blower installed was setup to have lubrication from carbs dropping fuel onto it. Since this car has fuel injection, no fuel was getting on the supercharger lobes.
Basically the clearances were too tight and if the car were to have been driven, it could have seized up.

Melvin purchased a brand new Billet supercharger setup with looser clearances to allow this to work in his application.

Here's a video from a recent cruise in. Car only has about 100 miles on it, so no dyno time scheduled until he gets at least 400 miles on it.
