Talking Back to the Parts Department!!

Well as some of you may know, I used to work at Century 3 Dodge as a Parts advisor for nearly a year, something I really liked and enjoyed doing(with no prev. experience). Learned a lot in just one year with some guidance and some online courses.. Well, my search has finally ended Thank the good Lord!! I had an interview yesterday at Monroeville Dodge for a Parts Advisor Job...Had me look up a few parts on their programs and were satisfied with what my experience. They called me back this morning and told me I was hired! I am SO SO excited, very nervous but extremely happy about it, I cannot wait to start! I'll finally get out of the cooking business and back into what I liked doing!

Congrats on the new job. Atleast it was not Vasko Dodge, my buddy has serious beef and has to tell me about it everytime we drive by. The kicker is they have the new 3500 Dual he wants, we even went out to Salem Ohio Dodge.

Thanks man! Yeah I never really dealt much with Vasko in my previous job, or Monroeville much for that matter. But I start on the 23rd so we'll see how it all goes. So excited to get out of cooking for some bullshit garbage restaurant who doesnt give a damn about their employees. And at least I'll be doing something I enjoy, working around/with cars and helping getting people and their cars back on the road! Grant it nothings cheap at the dealer, but at least I'll have some commission coming in and a nice pay, doesn't top the feeling of helping people out though!

Currently until the 17th I work at the South Park Clubhouse. I do everything there, work the line, set it up in the am's, do prep work in the back, make pizza/sandwiches. The one guy in the back is the owners friend so he jus is lazy as fVck and doesnt do shaaat! mad people recently quit/got fired so theres so much to do and not enough people to do it. So i'm stuck doing pretty much everything, its a totally ridiculous place to work(as is all food places) No thread hi jack lol its all good. Some guy got fired to selling drugs tonight, he worked a total of 8 hrs there before being fired, place is going down hill and I'm so happy to be getting out...Where do you work/did you work? And if you think about applying there, save your energy n time and DO NOT lol.

i worked at Burger King at Donaldsons Crossroads. I was in charge of training and kitchen supervisor along with 8000 other things. On top of that the crew was horrible. I quit about a year and a half ago, i do need a job now and classes are starting at the end of the month at Cal so I gotta get on it. I just want to wash dishes or something along those lines. Most likely Max and Ermas, Damons etc all in the McMurray area.

Hey Matt, I'm glad to see you finally found a job you'll be happy at. It sucks having to work your life away but if you like what you do it makes a big difference. I'd like to find something that pays better but it's kinda hard to leave a jod that's actually pretty descent and only 5 miles from home.

Hey - congrats on the new job! That's great to hear. The fact that you like the work you'll be doing is a plus - no doubt about that. Wish I could say the same...
