Glad my trip out there went well....

because when I got home, ran into a few problems. LOL

First, I was on an errand Monday and I downshifted and my car started sputtering and had no power. I was thinking, wtf? I just got back, safely, from Pittsburgh..the car ran fine. So I asked my uncle, he said it had a miss. He suggested I take it to my cousin who has a garage, so off I went. He checked it over and agreed with the miss, but why? He started checking the spark plugs and found one of my wires was laying on the exhaust manifold, burning away, so he moved it and it started idling right again. YAY! Problem solved temporarily until he could get my car in on Thursday.

Replaced the wires, got new plugs too and a new fuel filter. $165

Second, I asked him to do my inspection since it was there. He called saying I needed 2 new tires... yep, the rears.. the most expensive ones LOL.. go figure!

    So I purchased these...

    Nitto NT 555 Extreme Performance 315/35-17. $388

    Waiting on delivery.

I had a great time out there, but holy hell was it expensive (or so it seems) ;) I know, these "problems" could have happened any time.. glad I was home when they did.

Probably over $600 in maintenance in a day, damn! At least you should be good for quite a while now!

Yeah, I'm glad it wasnt something worse. Gotta keep the little things done too ;)

Everyone I've mentioned these tires to say they are good. My first time buying them so I'm anxious to see how they are.
