I raced a nissan 350z on rt. xx. We went from a 30 mph roll, he had about a car on me. We lined up at the red light and went from a dig. I had him by two lengths by about an 1/8th mile. Then we pulled up to the next red light and he wanted to go again. He launched at what sounded like 5,000 rpms..I launched at 3 grand, we did maybe a 1/4 mile and I had him by a half length the whole way.

I always stomped my buddies 350z. Back when I had my 05 with the Saleen blower, we'd do 50 MPH rolls (me in third and him in second somehow...).
It was the same old story... Romp on it in third... Take a nap (3.55 gears), grab 4th and shut down with him 3-4 Cars back.
After I bought the GT500, he was planning for a TT kit... just to "beat me".
