Videos of my GT with my 7D

So my I sold my 1D Mark III and got a 7D. It came in yesterday and was dying to try out the video portion of it..I also got a shotgun mic for it..the audio is probably 100% true to life in quality and sound.
these are not to good since you have to manual focus it and i have no idea how to edit videos yet..So these are my first attempts at video

I sold my 1D Mark III just to get video on this 7D...LOL this is tough getting use to the small camera size..

That vid quality is insane. We're looking to get a decent camera here, I've had it with our 7 yr old Sony. $2k is way over our budget, we just don't use one to justify that cost. Any suggestions for good quality, HD vid, good night time (concert) pics and won't be obsolete 10 mins after purchase? Or is it better to get dedicated cameras, 1 for video and 1 for pics?

The 7D did very good quality video..but with DSLR they are all manual focus. I had that 7D for a week. I sold it and bought another 1D Mark III I just didnt like the small body. As for a vid cam..I am not really sure as to what is a good one. I never got into video yet and am still looking. It is probably best to have vid and still cameras if your just starting out..I am trying to get a 2nd DLSR dedicated just to use for video cause I have over $6000 in lenses to use on it. So I am willing to get use to manual focus. I dont have any recommendations on a video camera..what is your budget

Night and day difference with the cai/brenspeed tune over stock? People really love their tunes.

Budget is probably in the 750-1000 range. Someone else recommended the T2i/550D as good bang for the buck.

yea thats got the exact same video quality as that 7D..BUT its going to be manual focus. That would be really challenging for filming kids on the move.

that camera is actually small compared to the body my my 1D Mark III


yea it was a nice wake up with the tune..when i dynoed it I gained 14whp with intake and tune
