Aquariums and fish..

I've always been fascinated with fish since I was a little kid..always wanted my own fish tank too, so I bought something little to get me started. Just a little ten gallon tank, picked up a Plecko (algae eater), two Bala Sharks, and two Pictus Catfish. Pretty awesome set up for around 65-70 bucks. Anyone else have any aquariums and some cool fish?

Planning on picking up a 50 gallon tank from a friend of mine for cheap and some bigger supplies when the time comes. Also like to add a few wild but neat fresh water fish..ideas or tips?

A couple of my buddies were real big into all types of fish and had some pretty big aquariums filled, but the one recently converted to exotic lizards!

I started with a 10 also..with oscars.. then they died..so i went out and got a 55gal.. had catfish,some kinda blue fish and a couple sharks and a crap lot of algae eaters.. i still have 2 of the decent sized blue fish and a couple big algae eaters if you wantem for free..im moving my tank to the new house and getting piranha.

DONT BUY THE PIRANHAS. I knwo a guy giving 3 away for free, hes a duquesne police officer. ill get in touch with my dad for ya, hes got a bunch of shit..ill give you everything if i can keep the tank ( if its bigger than mine) and a filter/pump. all i need for a bigger one. how's that sound?

EDIT - Nevermind... i just reread this sentence and I think he meant "why buy when you can get them for free" since he knows someone giving them away, and since he's a police officer the deal should be on the up and up.

Hey guys...I'm lookin for a 55gal or bigger tank as cheep as possible for my turtle. Shes a 6yr old river cooter that weighs about 7 pounds. Shes in a 29 gal now and has out grown the tank...Let me know if anyone has anything bigger that they wanna part with...

ive got a fish tank myself but im really into snakes... i have 5 ball pythons and a boa constrictor. i go to reptile shows all the time. and ill be breeding this season :)

I could do between 50-75 if that would work. I am having surgery tom. so i will not be able to drive for 2 weeks. Kinda sux cause I'll have to rely on my girlfriend. By the way...what are the dimensions? Let me know what you think....
