Ron, I always thought Troy was hyped up and overated. I have to say he IS a freak. I don't know why I always felt this way, but I did.

This D looks crazy right now. If we had some offense, it would be a dominant team for sure! This D just made a fantastic back look average. We are playing with a second, and third string team here and still winning. Pretty impressive.

You can't really criticize the offense because Big Ben isn't in there but they really need to step it up, after 7 some turn overs and you only walk away with 19 pts, thats bad..but thank god for the defense which kicks a$$! I'm just glad they won, thats all that matters at the end of the day

I hear ya John - Troy IS a freak. That play where he stopped Collins on the QB sneak was awesome. He can read minds...it is true. The INT of Young in the endzone was like taking candy from a baby...for Troy. Amazing stuff.

412 - I realize the offense isn't putting up big numbers. But as long as Ben is out you know the play calling is going to be vanilla at best. Control the ball and field position on offense, don't turn it over, and play great defense - that's what you're going to see for the next 2 games. You're absolutely right - the W is all that matters!!

I wonder if we have to bring back Byron now that Dixon is nicked? Sure was a little scary having our last real QB in there before halftime. But that also forced the offensive play calling to be conservative.

Ben being out for the first 4 games - to me - is really turning out to be a blessing in disguise. It has forced us to line up and run the ball. And Ben will be a lot fresher having rested for the last 1 1/2 months. We have a very good chance of being at least 3-1 before the bye ( assuming we can beat Tampa next week ) - and that would guarantee us a share of 1st place in the division with the Bengals beating the Ravens today. Look out when Ben gets back in week 6. If we stay healthy this team has a chance to do really well this year.

...and don't forget today's performance was without Hampton and Starks...not too shabby!

I dunno Batch was throwing some strikes when not running for his life. The receivers I thought were a let down. They just did not catch stuff that was thrown at them and catchable. Just seemed maybe they should have tried throwing on 1st or 2nd down more often to keep the Titans off guard.

Troy I have to say if a freak of nature or something. That play at goalline was just stupid sick.

Nice effort all around today. O-line really stepped it up. Mendenhall looks great with sweet moves in the open field. Defense very solid, even though the Bucs are weak on offense. LaBeau called off the dogs and gave the starters a break - if he had not, I doubt TB would have gotten into the endzone.

Can't wait for Sunday vs the ravens - they didn't look that good against the brownies today. 4-0 going into the bye would be AWESOME!!

That was a nice solid all around performance today. D looked great as normal but the offense finally waking up and getting the D some time off the field was great. I swore pretty good when Batch threw that pick at start. I'm thinking great here we go again.

Kinda scary to think they could be 4-0 come bye week.

Side note. I like McFadden, he just talks crap and is hitting people till the game is over :)

The d can't play out of their ass every game. Not a shit team they played today. Baltimore will go far this year. Just remember we have our 3rd string qb in right now.

Something just seemed lacking with the D today. Pass coverage wasn't all to good. That and 2 mins left lets keep running the ball while inside own 5 yard line. Umm a first down would have been nice to try and kill the clock. Again play calling at times just seems odd too.

Man Ben being back behind center can't come fast enough.
