I am so sick of being pissed off at the officials. Why don't they just make the QBs wear dresses and get it over with. Except Ben, of course - somehow the officials missed it when he was sacked by 2 guys - and was on his knees when the Bills players hit him again, put him down onto his back, and then knelt on him and smacked his head...all in plain sight of the camera. I could come to grips with the new rules if they were applied equally to everyone...but right now there is so much disparity between how the calls are being made against Steeler players and the rest of the league that it is ruining the game for me, and probably for a lot of the Steeler Nation as well.

It's a freaking shame, but I have to post this same thing 2 weeks in a row...

Ngata basically punches Ben in the face - no call. If it were Tom Brady or Peyton Manning in that case, there would have been 3-4 flags on the field.

Heath Miller takes the most malicious hit to the head that I've EVER seen - no call. Are you f'n KIDDING ME?!?! I bet my blood pressure was at a very dangerous level after that one.

Ben also took another late hit from their safety Landry - no call.

Supposedly the head of NFL officials admitted late in the game that the hit on Heath should have been a penalty. Gee - thanks, Mr. Obvious.

Mike Golic said it this morning on ESPN - that Steeler fans must be up in arms about the ridiculous non-calls against them. He's right - this has got to stop.

Goodell had better assess some SERIOUS fines against McLain(?) and Nata this week. This has become more than ridiculous.

It really sucks that Sepulveda is out for the year. He has been fantastic. Suisham really did a nice job filling in. He appears to be MONEY!

How about the play where Ben eluded Suggs and got rid of the ball. That was unreal - bad foot - broken nose. His performance last night was the gutsiest performance I've ever seen from a Steeler. Broken foot - broken nose - against the 2nd best D in the league - are you kidding me? He is as tough as nails. Even the haters have to admit it.

Bring on the Bengals - let's keep this train rolling!

A few games ago people were saying that Pittsburgh was purposely not getting any flags for hits on them, I didn't really buy into it. After last night, no doubt in my mind. It was ridiculous. Heath Miller was rocked so bad even Chris I-hate-the Steelers Dickheadsworth said it was unreal that it wasn't called.

I missed the hit during the game on Miller but saw the replay and that made me cringe. If his head went back any further I think he wasn't walking again ever. I agree that may be the worst hit I have seen in years on a player.

Don't hold your breath on anyone getting fined for hits on Ben. Goodell has it out for him and I think it's getting obvious more so than before. To the point even the Rooney's are making calls the NFL headquarters.

Well I take it back. There now is a fine for Ben's broken nose.

"Jameel McClain has been fined $40,000 for an illegal hit Sunday night on Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Heath Miller

Haloti Ngata was fined $15,000 for striking Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in the head"

Well, at least Ngata and McCalin were fined something...

But if you ask me, the hit on Heath was much more malicious than Harrison's hit on Massequoi. The fine for the hit on Heath should have been at least $75k. But at least the fines were levied quickly.

Now...I wonder what kind of "discussion" was held between Goodell and the officials from last night's game...

There should not be one man in charge of fines. The has to be a committee of ex players and coaches to decide fines. And a new commissioner end of story.

I also think each team should get on "flag" to throw for a penalty that is not called by the ref such as the Miller hit. To review the hit, and possible call a penalty on the player.

This season the refs, hits and Godell have ruined football for me. At least one day when I have kids I can tell them that I remeber when football was a contact sport.
