Way too stressful!!! See, I told younz not to give up. The first half did suck though.
Unreal. Take away the dumb defensive touchdown and add the easy missed fg and it would have been a blowout.
Wow - what a game. Rough first half - but what a defensive effort. Ray Rice - shut down. Boldin - didn't even show up. Mason - not a factor. Housh-ya-mama....few catches. Todd Heap was the only effective weapon. Defense really stepped up in the 2nd half. Ziggy Hood, Ike Taylor ( probably his best game all year ), Farrior, Hampton, James Harrison, RYAN CLARK - great game! Troy was hardly a factor - and to win a game like this with Troy hardly being noticed really says something.
Tip your cap to the offense as well. They really struggled in the first half. But in the second half, when the defense gave us the ball with a short field, the offense converted. Again and again. And how about that 3rd and 19 conversion late!! All I could say after the game was WOW. Baltimore is a really tough team that plays very good football, especially on the road. To beat them after being down 21-7 at halftime is some solid work. I think this is probably the best TEAM victory of the year. All phases came up big in the 2nd half. Say what you want about the first half being poorly played. This stuff happens - especially in the playoffs - especially when you're playing a division foe that you have played against more in the past 5 years than any other team in the league - and had an incredible string of 3-point games. No matter how you slice it, this was a great win. Veterans and young players alike stepped up and got it DONE tonight!!
Games like this are why I will never sell my playoff tickets. My Dad and I had such a fantastic time at the game tonight - and it wouldn't have been anywhere near as much fun from my couch.
And we get to move on to the next round! Let's see what happens!!!

The thing that most impresses me is that last season and the beginning of the season when they got into the red zone it seemed like the same old story, "here we go again, another field goal" but now there actually punching it thru and getting more TD's and less field goals...and like you said paxtonshelby, the fact that Polamalu wasnt involved in any big plays and the defense still played that well really does same something about this team..for once, Troy didnt have to score TD's for us to win

Glad they won but I agree way too stressful of a game. Especially watching them play flat footed in first half. Ben still holds that ball way to damn long. At least attempt to throw it away instead of taking such big losses on sacks. Granted the o-line sucks other than Pouncy and Adams. Kemo that fat ass should have been punched in the head for diving into the pile at end of plays. Got away with one early in game. Ward starting stupid crap all day.
Then we have Troy, was useless all game. Making stops and tackles by turning his back into them. Even my dad was WTF. Seemed they didn't try blitzing him till end of game. Why I don't know as he seemed to show some life at that point.
It really shouldn't have taken a fumble recovery followed by a interception to wake the Steelers up.

Kemo has got to go. He has made more dumb plays the past few seasons than good ones. Unfortunately the dumb ones normally costs us dearly during the game. I can't believe they just renewed his contract.
I'm pulling for the jets, but even if they lose, the Pats would have one less day of recouping than the Steelers. It seems as though the Steelers play worse after a bye. They get rusty from a week off.
Not saying anything yet, brady with 30 minutes still scares me...
