I had the GoPro stuck to his pass door pointing towards his rear tires.... tried to pull the video off and he sucks at listening to directions on stopping the video. File is corrupt. Going to try and fix it tomorrow.

[QUOTE=2002LXSport;249630]Anyone else see the white Super Duty with stacks puke its coolant all over the pavement after doing a burnout? That was entertaining. [QUOTE]
I thought I recognized some cars while looking around. I did not hang out near my car much, just walked around with my wife, then had to head out.
When I was leaving, I had to follow a guy out that just left the burnout pit. His cab was full of smoke. He eventually had to pull over as both he and his passenger were hanging out the window trying to get fresh air.
I saw the Super duty, then two cars later I saw this:

The 03+ superduty diesel engines have an EGR cooler that takes part of the exhaust flow from the passanger side up pipe and directs it to the EGR heat exchanger. When the engine is worked hard and especially with a tune, this can boil over the EGR heat exchanger and force expansion of the water in the cooling system (shared system) to blow out of the reserve bottle by the master cylinder.
It is kind of a normal thing to see and also can lead to cracking the EGR heat exchanger.... hence why many that tune for race or sled pull will delete the entire EGR system from the 6.0L and 6.4L PowerStrokes.

It was a great day and great event. (except for the burnout pit)
Couple of my high school buddies from 1985-1987 I used to drag race with came out for the first time to check it out. They were impressed with the size of the show. It was just like old times hanging out with the cars and telling stories, brought back lots of good memories.
My one friend brought his 69 Mach1 that he still has from those high school drag racing days. It's an original numbers matching unrestored 428 SCJ 4-SP R-Code Drag Pack car. Amazing that he bought that car as a teenager and still has it 25 years later.

It was red and we were parked on the left when you first entered the park. (attached photo)
The 69 Cobra on the other side of me was my other friends car, also an R-Code Drag Pack car.
It was cool that all 3 of us were parked with our cars hanging out for the first time in 25 years!
Exactly, don't stand behind a car in the burnout box if you don't want to get hit with anything... common sense is great.

Thanks. He hasn't done anything with the car over the last 25 years except for drive it a few times a year. So the condition of the car has obviously deteriorated. He decided last year its finally time to sell some of his collection and give this car some attention. His plan is to pull the motor, freshen it up and paint the car in the Winter of 2011.

Were those the GTOs that were behind me on Route 65 in the morning on the way to the Moon Cruise?
yah, you turned left after the bridge we turned right,
Gotcha, that makes sense.
Yeah, I always go left toward Coraopolis after I cross the Sewickley Bridge. Then you make a right at the light up the hill and that takes you to Beaver Grade Road. It's faster than going all the way around via University Blvd.
Quick story about that stretch of road...
When I was 14 years old my buddy was 16 and had a Mayfair Maze Yellow 67 Firebird Convertible. We picked up 2 chicks at the Roller Rink and took them to Moon Park to make-out. When we left my buddy was speeding toward University Blvd and couldn't stop at the red light due to weak 4-wheel drum brakes, so he drifted through the light and proceeded down University Blvd. There was a cop sitting there and started pursuit. My buddies dad was an alcoholic and used to beat him up, so he was afraid of getting a ticket because he knew he would get his ass beat. So he took off.
We were traveling on that stretch of road toward Coraopolis at 125mph with the cop 12 inches from our rear bumper. When we hit Coraopolis they had a road-block setup and you couldn't enter the town or go up the hill. So he went around them at 50mph through the grass median and entered Coraopolis. Through red-lights in-between the cars, left onto side street, left onto railroad tracks, ripped the exhaust off, several flat tires, out of the railroad tracks and into somebody's yard, ripped the clothes off the clothes line, back onto the street, heading the way we came in going the wrong way on a one-way street. The car died from the abuse and about a dozen police cruisers surround us and pulled their weapons.
They ripped him out of the car so hard it tore the Polo shirt off his body. He was released from jail that evening, lost his license for a few years and had $500 in fines. I'm sure the penalty would be much worse today. That was almost 30 years ago and I remember it all like it was yesterday. Scary experience.
