3.5" prostars on fox with 94-98 front brakes?

I tried to put my 15" x 3.5" weld prostars on the front of my '91 LX the other day and they would not clear the brakes. I have 94-95 spindles and calipers. What do I need to do to fit these wheels on my car? Do I need a spacer and longer studs? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    welds

I kinda hate to grind on the brackets. So,I guess I'll have to get some 3" studs and 7/16" spacers. Thanks for the replies fellas .

    spacers

    Scott,
Where did you buy the spacers with the studs already in them?

If you plan on hanging the tires, I'd go with the 3" ARPs and a slip on Mustang specific quality spacer, currently what I run.

    spacers

Thanks for all the input fellas. I am really leaning towards the 3" studs and spacers idea.

biminiLX,where can I get the mustang specific spacers? Also how thick do I need them to be?
