flash light drag tires ?

I want to go the sept. flash light drags but Im thinking that the cobra on cheap street tires is not going to cut it. I have the stock wheels that I could throw some tires on. I also have a set of 16 inch wheels for the 1995 gt with mickey et streets not sure what to do any input ?

I would at least use the mickeys you have on the 16's. I run the same setup 16's/mickeys and I still spin through most of 1st gear

I know what you are saying with street tires on my 1995 I got my ass handed to me by a lot of slower cars! That same night I orded et's next time beat all those same people. I just dont know if the 255/50/16 I have are to small for that car?

255/60/15 will more than likely be too small. Bias ply is what you want, will save your axles but I wouldn't drive there on them.

Hoosier 315/35/17 with these fit on stock wheels I have wider wheels on car now and dont want to take the street tires off just for the flash light drags two times a year ?

Ya they were used and had very little life left but got the job done. I wanted to air them down but never had a chance.
