"No man is entitled to the blessings of freedom unless he be vigilant in it's preservation"
General Douglas McArthur
Man, you guys are off the chart.
Sorry we can't have a reasonable conversation.
I would argue new taxes aren't the issue, falling wages are the issue.
What you really care about is your net income, correct?
My point is, they have you beating the wrong horse.
Who are they? Those who use labor on a large scale. Say you are self
employed? Well who's your biggest competitor? They set the pay rate.
And they are the ones slicing your profit margins.
And by the way, the largest corporations pay the lowest percentage of
taxes. Funny how that all works out, isn't it?
Back to the wildlife preserves. They are shrinking. We are losing open
spaces and wildlife at a mind boggling rate.
Taxes are how we pay for public land / conservation projects.
A tax on sporting ammo seems appropriate to me.
Really?
Aren't you required to use a shotgun to shoot birds (waterfowl)?Originally Posted by Linked CNS Article
To answer the question though, outside of hunting season, not much. Yes, I do have a gun but its a 30-30 for deer. I had to read about waterfowl and how they use steel shot in my safety course but since I shoot for deer it wasn't my primary concern to remember the details.

I agree with a gradual progression, but what motive would Government have to do so? I'm ony asking because this process IS very slow and patient. On one hand, you have people speaking out that our government is here to protect us and do us no harm, then turn around and say they're here to disarm us. Makes no sense whatsoever.
